Grinder Pump Repair | New England
Is Your E/One Grinder Pump Alarm Going Off?
Press the silence button located at the bottom of the panel (if equipped). If your grinder pump is in your basement and doesn’t have a separate panel box, remove the gray cover and push the silence button.
STOP ALL WATER USE for at least 15 minutes.
If the alarm is still on after 15 minutes, call 508-765-0051 for 24/7 service.
Until someone arrives to service your pump station, please minimize water usage:
- Remember, all water used in your house ends up in your pump station. If the alarm light is on, the tank is near maximum capacity.
- Only flush toilets when necessary.
- Avoid using the shower, bathtub, washing machine, and dishwasher, as these appliances use a significant amount of water.
REMEMBER
IF YOU CONTINUE TO USE EXCESSIVE WATER WHILE YOUR PUMP IS FAILED, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT SEWER CAN BACK UP INTO YOUR HOUSE. F.R. MAHONY & ASSOCIATES IS NOT LIABLE FOR SEWER BACKUPS OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY SEWER BACKUPS. YOU MUST TREAT THE ALARM AS YOUR WARNING TO STOP USING WATER.
