Siewert Equipment is a locally based pump & service company serving industry and trade since 1949. Siewert Equipment employs approximately fourteen (14) Service Technicians available for various Pump Maintenance & Repair Services. Siewert Equipment is authorized for Service & Repair by numerous companies including Flowserve Pump, Flowserve Seal, Ingersoll-Dresser, Worthington, Grundfos Pump, Morris Pump, Pentair, Aurora, Layne & Bowler, Verti-line, IDEX, Viking, Ebara, Environment One, and Gorman Rupp.
Maintenance & repair services are coordinated from Service Centers based in Rochester & Albany and supported by diverse service staff with many years of education, training, and experience. Our Service Manager, Mitch, has worked in the process systems industry for almost 20 years. Before Siewert Equipment, he worked as a global installation supervisor with Lightnin Mixers and SPXFLOW and has extensive experience with the maintenance and repair of rotating equipment. Four full-time Service Coordinators with parts and service training and experience are dedicated to our Service business and reinforced by a separate Parts team. Our Service Technicians are amongst the best pump mechanics in the industry and combined our service team has several hundred years of experience.
The expertise of our Service organization is uniquely reinforced with Pump Improvement & Reliability Engineering positions, currently held by Barry & Ed. Barry served as the Chief Engineer for Allis Chalmers Pump Company from 1969 – 1986 with responsibility for AC pump products including the NSYV and NSW sewage pumps, and thereafter held Senior Engineering & Equipment Reliability positions with Duriron Pump Co., Goulds Pumps, Flowserve Pump Company, and Eastman Kodak. Barry has 55 years of experience in the centrifugal pump industry. Ed has been employed with Siewert Equipment since 1976 (48 years) and has extensive experience with maintenance and repair of rotating equipment. Jim, Vibration Analyst Cat Level III, has 37 years of experience as the Manager of Predictive Maintenance for Kodak park and Team Leader of the Equipment Diagnostics Group for Arnprior Rapid Manufacturing Solutions. Barry, Ed, and Jim are recognized industry experts and valuable resources within our Reliability Services Group (RSG).
